RIDING IN PICTURESQUE HEREFORDSHIRE

Established in 1982 the Sue Adams Riding School has enjoyed huge success in teaching people of all ages to ride. Because of rapid expansion, the School moved from Pembridge to Shobdon in 1990 in order to take advantage of much larger premises and to create all the facilities which the School now offers.

Set in 2000 acres of farmland the School has a cross country course with minimum and novice fences; an indoor school; an outdoor manege; a full set of show jumps and can offer wonderful and picturesque off-road hacking, both around the farm and in Shobdon Forest.

Throughout the year the School runs regular competitions in both dressage and show jumping and twice a year 'clear round cross country' competitions are held. The Sue Adams Riding School rosettes are renowned for their size, colour and luxurious quality.

Special courses are arranged from time to time with visiting expert instructors such as Pat Burgess for show jumping and Sally Tottle for horse based Alexander Technique. Also check out our links with Arrow Training by visiting that web site.

Sue Adams Riding School has now teamed up with La Mesteceni Country Club in Transylvania to offer superb riding holidays in West Romania. See our Transylvania Holidays page for more details.

There is a wealth of local area information on the Pembridge web site. Click here to have a look.
